Rules
- You play White and move first. Select a piece and then a marked destination, drag between squares, or use arrows and Enter. A move may never leave your own king in check.
- Pawns move forward and capture diagonally. Rooks use ranks and files, bishops diagonals, queens both, knights jump in an L and kings move one square. A pawn reaching the last rank promotes; choose queen, rook, bishop or knight before moving.
- Castling requires unmoved king and rook, clear intervening squares and a king that is not in check or crossing an attacked square. En passant is available only immediately after the opponent’s two-square pawn move. Checkmate wins; stalemate, insufficient material, threefold repetition and the fifty-move condition are automatically draws here.
- Easy and standard computers run on this device without an account. There is no clock or claimed rating. Undo returns to your previous decision, including the computer reply, and marks assistance. The daily game fixes White, standard mode and its seed. Saved move history is shared between languages.

Strategy
Before moving, inspect checks, captures and threats for both sides. A piece can appear available while moving it exposes your king.
