Prepare before you lose your connection
Offline play is available after the browser has loaded and cached a game. It does not work on a first-ever visit without internet. Open each game you want to take with you, wait for the board to appear, and keep the same browser and device.
- Visit the game while connected and let it finish loading.
- Make a move so you can recognize your saved progress.
- Reload once while online so the installed offline worker can cache the page.
- Before travelling, disconnect briefly and check that the game reloads.
That short check matters because browser settings, storage pressure, and private browsing can affect caching. If the site cannot save progress, it displays a storage notice. An offline browser may still remove old site files to free space.
What works offline?
The three games run their rules on your device. Pair matching, card moves, hints, undo, restart, and new shuffled deals do not require a server. Your local statistics and saved game also work if browser storage is enabled. Daily deals are calculated from the device’s UTC date, selected mode, and engine version.
Offline play does not provide cloud sync or an online leaderboard. The cached version may remain in use until you reconnect. If your device clock is incorrect, the daily date can be incorrect too. A later engine update may change which future deal is generated for a date.
What can remove an offline game?
Clearing site data, using a different browser, changing devices, or allowing the browser to evict storage can remove cached pages. Saved progress and cached files are separate browser records, but a full site-data cleanup can delete both. Reconnect and revisit the game to prepare it again.
A link to a page you have never visited may need the internet. If that happens, the offline fallback explains the situation rather than pretending the page loaded. Return to a game you already cached or reconnect to explore more of the site.
No installation is required
You can keep playing from a normal browser tab. If your browser offers an Add to Home Screen or Install option, that is optional convenience; the game does not require it. Bookmarking a game is also a simple way to return later.
