Make your next move count
Before moving, inspect checks, captures and threats for both sides. A piece can appear available while moving it exposes your king.
Develop knights and bishops, leave room for your king to castle, and compare the value of both sides of a trade. A suggested move is not a guaranteed win.
Use the move history and Undo to study a decision. Check which squares the opponent attacks before moving your king or pushing a pawn that protects it.
